If you are researching Loyalist ancestors, this guide is a worthy addition to your reference shelf. While there are numerous guides and sites to help with Loyalist research, the strength of this book is that it gives a concise description of many different resources that are available — a handy one stop reference place. The book also provides “how to” instructions for utilizing some of the more difficult to use sites. The author is a very experienced Loyalist researcher, and has passed along some of the many lessons and insights that she has acquired.
Excellent reference material if you have ancestors who were Loyalists in Upper Canada.
